Small groups, clear progress

At Linguistic Voyage, each course begins with an initial level screening so we can place learners in a suitable group and match the timetable as closely as possible. From there, we confirm the course terms, enrolment, and lesson plan before scheduled group lessons begin.

Our teaching combines guided practice, peer interaction, and a written learning plan. Progress depends on starting level, attendance, independent practice, learning needs, and the length of the course.

What we value

The way we teach

Our courses are built around clarity, participation, and realistic expectations. We keep the format simple so learners can focus on the language itself.

G1

Capped groups

Small groups help every learner take part, ask questions, and practise more often. We keep group sizes capped so the lesson stays active and manageable.

P2

Clear structure

A written learning plan gives each course a clear direction. It helps learners see what comes next and how the sessions connect over the term.

S3

Level screening

Initial level screening helps us place learners appropriately before enrolment. That makes the first lessons more focused and helps the group move at a workable pace.

P4

Guided practice

Guided peer practice creates room for conversation, correction, and support from others in the group. It is a practical way to build confidence step by step.

Our story

How Linguistic Voyage began

We built our centre around learners who want structure, conversation, and a manageable schedule. Small groups make it easier to participate, ask questions, and keep the lesson focused.

Linguistic Voyage was founded in 2022 by Emil Johansson with a clear idea: language learning should feel organised, personal, and practical. That approach still shapes how we design our courses today.

Our small-group term courses are designed for adult beginners, continuing learners, and friends or community groups who want to learn together. We also offer conversation workshops, intensive courses, and private group options.

Every course is planned to support steady learning rather than quick promises. We do not guarantee fluency, exam results, or any specific outcome by a fixed date, because real progress depends on many factors.
